  13. I have been trying to get an NEC 3XE cd rom drive to run on my A1200 
  14. without success.I have a 1200 with a GVP 1230 board and the SCSI board 
  15. attached.My HD is connected via a Dataflyer XDS box to the IDE header.I 
  16. am trying to use Asimware driver software version 2.0.When I installed 
  17. the asimware software I set it to auto mount cd0 on bootup.The Asimware 
  18. SCSI Inquire software and the GVP software do not "see" that the cd rom 
  19. drive is attached and there is no icon on the Workbench for CD0.I set the 
  20. cd rom drives termination on since it is the only device connected and I 
  21. have tried every possible ID number.I also set the termination off since 
  22. the system seems to think that an IDE HD is a SCSI device.I ahve tried 
  23. just about every possible combination and nothing works.Can anyone help?
